Once you have been allocated housing, please contact the Félagsbústaðir help desk at 520-1500, or via the online chat or by e-mail.
Service centre consultants will make a note of your phone number and e-mail address and send a viewing request to the apartment manager. The apartment manager will then contact you when the apartment is ready for viewing, usually the next working day or within a few days, and arrange a meeting with you to show you the apartment that has been allocated to you.
After you have viewed the apartment, you need to let the social worker at the Félagsbústaðir service centre and the service desk know that the apartment has been taken and book an appointment to complete the rental agreement with Félagsbústaðir. Usually you can make an appointment for the next working day.
